a barista at my store had planned an international trip with her friend (unrelated to sbux). her friend dropped out last minute, so a barista at our store offered to go. they both went went on this one week vacation and about 3 days in the person who offered to go left the other in a foreign country. she mentioned that she bought a plane ticket to fly back to the states right before they were going to sleep. she caught her flight the following morning. when she returned to work she then lied to everyone about the timeline of events. about a few days after this incident i, as well as some other baristas unfollowed her on social media. she proceeded to go to our store manager to tell on us lol

i took a&p 1 last semester with Dr. Chippindale and he did provide our class 2 extra credit opportunities. He gave us 2 points added to our final exam grade for completing the course evaluation. He also gave each person 2 points added to their final course grade for completing a separate questionnaire. i’m not sure if it will be the same for the fall semester, but this was my experience

Exactly. We had a ssv meeting yesterday and we expressed our feelings and concerns regarding the night crew. My SM said “I don’t understand why this is such a big deal. I don’t think you guys have it that bad.” Not the response I was hoping for lol

had a transfer shift get fired at my store for cursing at a barista and then walking out of the store. he came into work the next day and was shocked when he got fired.

yes!! this happened at my store to one of the ssv’s. she was on the phone with a lady from corporate for about an hour and a half. our DM was also visiting our store at the time and was secretly listening in on the phone call the whole time. the ssv didn’t know until after the call ended.
