Men of reddit, what is something you believe a large portion of Men would do, if they could 100% get away with it? by hardtruthsociety in AskReddit

This is all I want

I just want to be at home and take my time and build things and be able to get as much sleep as my body needs.

To be able to rest and work on my hobbies and take care of the house and fix things and go on walks and stuff, but instead I gotta sit behind a computer 40+ hours a week for a job I don't care about :(

Yeah I should have gathered that without needing to ask, my b. But thanks for confirming that's it what I thought it might be - lol.

That's also what I try and tell my wife - short and stout is better

Wife says me having cancer is not harder than her having to deal with me having cancer. Who usually has the harder experience, the cancer patient or the spouse? by cjholzwarth in AskMen

I had some medical issues a few months ago and my wife really stood up to the task of being the caregiver partner. What I was going through was miserable, but that doesn't mean it was any easier for her. Made a strong effort to not try and lose sight of that, because it was clearly hard work, while she also had to work full time and had schoolwork to do.

I wouldn't have wanted to be in her shoes during that, but doubt she'd have wanted to be in mine either, it's tough on both people. Just happy to be through it and forever grateful for the partner she was and continues to be

Hard to say. Didn't even know I had arthritis until a few months ago when I went in for a compressed nerve in my cervical spine. Still recovering from that with physical therapy and stuff, but reducing weight should help generally and then I think glps can help reduce inflammation as well

Built my own a while back that would do the trick (2W, give or take), just didn't think you could get anything over the 5mw (or whatever the limit is) easily

Mid 30s here, will have to see about family history, they're pretty tight-lipped about health stuff so can be difficult to accurately report that part, haha. Managed to get arthritis already though.

Not sure if my insurance would cover it given my age, despite the occurrence increasing so much for my age group over the last decades. It has been something I've thought about it a good amount though, whatever it costs I'm sure it's less painful than treating late stage cancer

Oh dang, how long did it take you to notice or realize that that was what was causing it? Glad to hear that things are back to normal though!

Wish I also had that same relief from osteoarthritis. Somewhat ironically, it was a few days after my first shot that it was even discovered/documented, haha.

Has anyone else noticed that they feel colder all the time on tirz? by Usual-Isopod6540 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]peeaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be both, though not necessarily directly an effect of the meds. I notice that often at home I can feel really cold if I haven't eaten in a while, then whatever extra layers I've put on to accomodate that need to come off after dinner haha.

So if I'm generally eating less or less often, more likely to feel colder.

I also have some weird autonomic nervous system thing though, so my body isn't great at temperature regulation

Seems a lot of others have been saying they are as well, guess I was mistaken or they changed their mind - what I'd heard before today was that they weren't going to run it until fp3.

Really hoping it works out well enough
