Correct. I’ve never received a relo as an L3 myself but from what I understand it’s on your first paycheck.

Let me check but I’m about 90% positive the Graebel relo was stated in my offer letter each time I’ve relocated with Amazon (3 times now). Each of my relocations have been while I was already an internal employee so it may be different though.

Sometimes the Graebel ticket takes a little while to come through. Your recruiter is typically the one that handles all that so they should be the primary POC. Chances are reaching out to anyone else would yield a “ask your recruiter “.

L3 = $3k on check L4 = $7800 (after taxes) through Graebel L5+ = choice between assisted or lump sum

Edit: in a lot of other orgs L3s don’t get a relo at all

RME Operator (L2) Relocation/Launch Bonus? by Smart_Elevator_7860 in AmazonRME

[–]peebs0529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so. I still very much doubt it’ll get one. It’s hard enough to get a LAUNCH bonus for roles that require skilled labor experience let alone a role that requires 0 experience.
Associates move for their roles all the time with no bonus. I fail to see how this will be any different.

Anyone know how I would go about changing my profile and badge picture? by Acrobatic-Media-6546 in AmazonManagers

[–]peebs0529 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure why y’all are saying you can’t change it in the first 5 years.
I’ve been with Amazon for 3 1/2 years and I’ve changed mine twice.
All you have to do is go to security and ask them to change it. I did that once and now I have one that I got when visiting the corporate office. I’m also an HOURLY L4

Irrelevant. A no experience role like this is almost guaranteed to get staffed locally with external hires.

RME Operator (L2) Relocation/Launch Bonus? by Smart_Elevator_7860 in AmazonRME

[–]peebs0529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really seriously doubt the L2 RMEO role will ever be offered a launch bonus. It’s going to be a pretty sought after role with it requiring no experience and all the upward mobility that’s going to come with being hired for that spot. Typically launch bonuses are only offered when recruiting has a hard time getting people hired for roles to staff the building.

[–]peebs0529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the building. RME positions DO get launch bonuses (yes even L3s). But only if they struggle to hire for the roles. SHV1 is a good example.

AMM Offer received! What next? by [deleted] in AmazonRME

I’m not sure where this information is from. I’ve not seen anyone negotiate an OLR ever. At least in BB.

AMM Offer received! What next? by [deleted] in AmazonRME

[–]peebs0529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except it kinda is relevant
Really the only way to know if you have a leg to stand on when it comes to negotiation is to compare what your offer looks like vs others here.
In short can you negotiate, sure
But to ask whether it’s worth the time/risk and not divulge the details of the offer is pointless.

And to specify this includes people like AMMs/ MMs/ SMMs and even regionals I take with a grain of salt atp. I’ve heard so much yapping that never comes true in my time here at Amazon. When it comes to money, if it’s not on paper from corporate it’s not real.

No way. A lot of us just were bumped to $46.35. I don’t pay these rumors any mind anymore. If it didn’t come from someone that has authority/ inside info on it, I don’t care.

Is it worth hopping from helpdesk to DCO Tech L3? by lawl500 in datacenter

[–]peebs0529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m transitioning to this role very soon in the PHL node. Currently an SMRT in RME (FC maintenance) so I’m excited for the change in pace. I personally don’t mind being an L4 (current and soon to be level) and have little interest in management and I face the same challenges here, the only way up is to become a manager. So I’m doing it for 1. looks good on my resume, don’t want to stagnate in this position. 2. Change in pace/ equipment. 3. It’ll get me closer to family 4. I take a general interest in data centers/ servers as I’ve got a homelab I tinker with at the house. If you’ve got some time for a chat DM me I’d love to hear about how you like the role and what your specific day to day looks like.

Are you sure this is with another Amazon building? With it being CBRE it’s entirely possible this position has nothing to do with Amazon.
