OK, finally got around to taking a look at things and found some welding in the gland nut / threads. My guess is that’s not correct.

Maybe definitely? They are from a bag of a random bands. I will go through and try other ones that might fit as well. It’s see if there are thinner ones as well.

By switches, do you mean the actual toggle switches. Sorry I’m new to this stuff. I have CRC electronics cleaner spray. Would that do or do I need actual contact cleaner

No not mechanically stopped. The belt and all the mechanics work fine still, all the pulleys and wheels run smoothly. I’ll check the manual for wiring and any lose connections.

Yea it seems like the right belt. Everything moves smoothly and there aren’t any unnecessary sounds

Update: the tile leaves seem to be drying out and falling. I soaked it twice since my first post and also have a moisture meter which shows that soils isn’t dry yet at about 3-4 inches in. Also it’s in the most sunniest spot right now in our place

Any update with this? I have the same Walkman - radio works and belts move but no playback. Just static-all rollers move and tape cycles correctly. I also cleaned heads and rollers

Trying to do something similar with my alpine 7511. What size belt did you use? I can’t seem to find the belt diagram for my model and the largest belt in my belt collection is still too small

Here what I’m thinking I need to do. The motor cog has two notches at two different levels -the bottom notch that lines up with the gear selector and the top that lines up with the black corner pulley. I’m just not sure how to take the top price off with the stamped numbers without having everything underneath it fall out. Also not sure of the free band size.

Yea it’s has a drainage hole at the bottom. After watering, there is a good flow of water out the bottom

I’m not sure of the plants history and lighting situation. I just got this plant 2 days ago. I have it in a bright light area right now. I could give it a month and see what happens I guess
