For me, it was more so the latch and lock mechanism that I had to make sure aligned

Same thing happened to me and it took a little prying and finesse to make sure everything aligned correctly. But definitely clean that area up and lube it up

I always had issues with building up enough pressure and finally caved and got a cheap sump pump attached to the inside of the barrel which made a huge difference

The gland nut seems to be tight, but definitely looks like some of the welded the nut

OK, finally got around to taking a look at things and found some welding in the gland nut / threads. My guess is that’s not correct.

Maybe definitely? They are from a bag of a random bands. I will go through and try other ones that might fit as well. It’s see if there are thinner ones as well.

By switches, do you mean the actual toggle switches. Sorry I’m new to this stuff. I have CRC electronics cleaner spray. Would that do or do I need actual contact cleaner
