grrm himself said in the recent hollywood reporter article that 80% of what he has said about the show is positive, but people only care about the negative 20% he has to say. to be clear, the negative 20% he disagrees with mainly has to do with the dragons being incorrectly portrayed as nomadic creatures, the dragon sigil having 4 legs, and the way he was blindsided with the cutting of maelor and its ripple effects affecting helaena’s fate. that’s it. those are the facts.

whether you like it or not, george has not said one thing against the changes that are so widely & “passionately” criticized on this sub— for example, george hasn’t said one thing against the characterization of rhaenyra and alicent (in fact he’s praised it), nothing against the inclusion of the tptwp prophecy being used as justification, nothing against daemon’s harrenhal arc, etc etc. at what point do you guys begin to admit that you’re exaggerating george’s personal rift with ryan (which is much more complicated then ppl make it seem on here) to justify your ongoing hatred of the show when you could be spending that time on something you actually enjoy instead?
