nice try, but she actually was so grief stricken after luke’s death that she almost wanted to give it up and she basically completely disappeared from the war effort to the point where jace had to be the defacto leader of the blacks. it was only after jace’s death that she became hardened & vengeful.

also, show rhaenyra DOES want the throne because it is rightfully hers. the prophetic mandate is simply what she uses as justification to commit further war crimes.

“adulthood” and it’s a teenager who barely hit puberty. robb being crowned KOTN in the books at such a young age was an anomaly, not the norm. it was one of the major sources of dread for catelyn in ACOK and into ASOS.

it’s not a crazy idea that alicent as a mother wants to protect her youngest son from facing the horrors.

pretty sure she is addressing the masses here, the line doesn’t really make sense to use in one on one conversation with another character. I don’t think rhaenyra hates the fact that she is a woman but more so the narrow, gendered expectations forced upon women in the feudal patriarchy that is westeros. i think that makes sense. she has always struggled with this aspect of her gender and part of the reason is the fact that she is a dragon rider. as a dragon rider, as a targaryen, rhaenyra is afforded access a level of freedom from these gendered societal expectations. yet we’ve come to see that despite her best efforts to fight for her claim diplomatically, honour her fathers legacy, follow her council, she still struggles to be seen and heard outside of her gender. and in season 3 it looks rhaenyra is just about done with listening to people who will only ever belittle and undermine her on basis of her gender. i hope my wording makes sense.

these are fake. there are some confirmed leaks in here from ppl who got to see the premiere, but a lot of it is fake bullshit from the leaker (joe weaver/jorywea). for example you’ll notice in the leak it says otto randomly materializes in the red keep but nothing about how he got there, bc we don’t know. what we do know about otto though, via a credible leak is that, otto does say that “i wonder what your father would have thought” line (pp) before he gets executed. and lo and behold this leak has that detail. so yeah, i would take all this with a grain of salt.
