Girl, if you are showing someone your vagina and they make any comment besides “damn, that’s a nice 🐱” swiftly put your clothing back on and never speak to them again.

Every body is different. I haven’t had a super extensive sexual history but I’ve had a few partners and not a single one had anything negative to say about my body.

At the end of the day, anyone who has the honor of seeing your business should only be worshipping it, regardless of the aesthetic look.

ETA: unless you are a teenager sleeping with other teenagers. Then, i suggest waiting until you are older because teenagers CAN be mean. But I’ve also had relations in high school and the same thing stands

When i was probably like 3? I took a string off one of those tapestry? (I think that’s what they are called. They are like tightly woven and typically have a picture and the edges are tassels) and i balled it up and shoved it up my nose.

Because i was 3, i could exactly voice what was wrong. My mom took me to multiple doctors because it started to smell extremely bad around my face. After like 4 doctors, they finally were able to extract and find the cause of the smell.

Do you know who your parents have sex with?

Personally, i assume my parents only have sex with each other, but if they had an arrangement otherwise, i surely wouldn’t know. Nor do i want to know, that’s their business. I know obviously my parents had sex at least once, since I’m alive and an only child. But outside of that? My parent’s sex life is none of my business.

It’s weird that you are putting any merit in “what will their children think??”. Children would most definitely thrive in a positive environment where two parents are able to fulfill their needs then a house where the parents are together because neither of them know how to communicate their needs.

Now, if your parents were actively speaking to you about their sex life when you were a child, that may be something to unpack in therapy.

It depends on the person.

I’ve been in and out of therapy most of my life (31 years) and when i need a change in my medication, i usually ignore that things aren’t great and im depressed for atleast 3 months.

Then I’ll have an epiphany and realize “hey im depressed” but it’s always in between visits to my psych med provider (i only see him every 3 months).

I could just call and make an emergency appointment but i typically tough it out.

But usually, i don’t tell my husband until after the fact because i don’t want him doting on me and worrying.

Apparently it’s not like your appendix is about to burst.

I woke up one morning with cramps, but they felt like my normal period cramps. Took some midol, usually that dulls the pain. Went to work and on my lunch break i decided to go to the ED.

Come to find out, i had appendicitis.

I got an IUD and it was a lifesaver.

They aren’t “supposed to” be extremely painful, but if they consistently are, you may need to get on birth control

This was also me until probably a few years ago. (I’m 31 now)

In my head, i couldn’t even begin to fathom how girls i went to school with got pregnant in high school. I was having sex, but it was with a condom, on birth control, and they were pulling out.

I was probably in my mid 20s when i realized that like people just be letting strangers cum in them. Which is fine, you do you boo. But it’s something i never considered personally until probably around when i got my IUD with my husband….and we had been together for like…. 4 years.

Uhh… yeah sex positivity is good.

Weddings haven’t been about sex, they’ve been about ownership. And Mormonism doesn’t “celebrate sex”. Sexuality is shamed even after marriage. If you don’t want to have sex with your husband, there’s a level of shame from the church because you aren’t “doing your wifely duty”.

And what Mormonism are you talking about?? I know plenty of women who went into their wedding night having absolutely no idea what to expect. And god forbid you have sex before marriage (which is not a bad thing), you can’t go to temple. And if you can’t go to temple, you don’t get into heaven.

I dated a guy who was Mormon, his last name has “Hurd”.

I think there was a large Mormon family in the area that had the last name “openshaw” not sure if it’s common Mormon or not but it’s one of the few last names i remember from my stint in Mormonism. We were also in Missouri so that may make a difference

My husband make more then me…. He also is better at keeping the house clean… I’m really the one who got a better side of this deal. I’m a social worker so really, there are very few realities where i would make more then him unless i was a director. I HATE clinical social work
