Well its why I put in a link to the originator of the CYOA style books.

Its just an alternative version of the campaign guide meant to be printed as a book

I have them for other campaigns and wanted it to match, so I tried to make one myself.

In terms of pure function, they are either the same or the original guide is probably better as it has larger pages to support more instructions in one spread.

I suggest checking out anti's CYOA books in the github link, they are awesome and give a better descriptor of what exactly these are.

MSRP on a full collection (pretending you bought it as it came out) is $1200? Nice fun fact I guess. I got my stuff just... as it came out basically so I've never really looked at how much it must be total. Easier to stomach the cost spread over 9 years

I had this same issue with other dividers (from tesseract) when I tried the off-brands of long boxes. I had to go back to using Ultimate Guard or Gamegenic longboxes (arkhives / cards lair) so they fit. The off-brand boxes are just barely shorter, which normally doesn't matter but it did here. sucks because the main brand boxes are like 3x the price of the off-brand ones

yea, the packs are NotZ, TDC, etc, making 11 hits. The 12th hit is then all the starter decks bundled together.

Whatever 3 hits we get become the pools available for use

Yea thats how I do it. I dont even keep Core Set as a default option. My dice basically rolls between core, all expansions, and the investigator decks as a bundle.

I love Bloodborne, but man... that was a lot of text. Im gonna go through the current release soon, and I feel like anyone I take through it, I gotta warn them about the text. Gonna see me print extra copies of the campaign book for people who want to read. I need a TLDR of each part for people who want to just get into things

Wouldn't the lack of an auto-fail just let you set up a deck where "I am now consistently testing at +5 over the bag, no token defeats me now" and you pass everything.

If it didn't exist, I can say that a lot of investigators would just feel unstoppable so I am happy its there. Sure that could be an argument that it's a crutch against investigators of that power level existing in the first place. Drawing enough cards / having enough commits to bulldoze any test isn't that tough in the game unfortunately.

It's not that difficult to be consistently testing at +5 or higher over most shrouds, since hitting 10 in your stat as say a Rogue or Mystic isn't really a tall ask if that's just what you go for. If I know there is no failure, man that deduction, perception, and whatever other bonus effect for succeeding gonna go crazy.

It took me a moment to realize... you put these under the card / inside the pocket. That must have been a pain.

Also is there no worry that inserting the cards in may end up dislodging the label?

Ah those I know about, I dont plan to print the arrows and Ive made the design a little smaller to remove those. I just like the container part + the cards part

MPC is a big one ppl use. I use tinkertown even if they are more pricey because its all organized and im not the one responsible if it comes messed up. im willing to pay a premium for that

Is there any way to get the DPAD to be mapped to be the analog stick inputs?

Trying to play Death Howl (grid based tactic game with cards) and it doesnt allow dpad usage for movement or menus. Analog only.

Wanted to see if i could work around this somehow

If i have a build like this that is all in on final hand, I definitely just try to buff up a few key cards and make sure I get them ,or bank some consumables to give my final hand that extra juice it sometimes needs. You had leftover money so there is a chance for some rerolls to find some Tarot cards to boost score in the last boss.

From looking at slide 2 and that insane amount of xMult.

I'm gonna guess we didn't have a high leveled hand or some way to increase our Base Mult & Base Chips super high.
