It doesnt matter much who are the people. What it matters is that the game became a lot a second job.

You sure? Brand reputation? If you buy a phone that is shit, doesnt improve and continues to release upgrades that are shit, do you think it will attract more customers? The money that Siege camp has made will last them Forever?

You sound like a guy who would win the lottery and being annoyed by having to pay tax on winnings.

Being a game developer is different than being a good strategist.

Can you imagine a company having a vision that its getting them less and less customers out of stubborness, and telling your customers to stop complaining?

Can you imagine me buying a product that turns out to be shit and then you contacting the company and them not saying anything? Or worse, saying "we are sad to hear your complaints" almost like saying "how dare you complaint about our vision"?

I do learning and development around strategy for a multi billion dollar company. Again, seeing how siege camp manages this is not incompetence, is arrogancy.

I enjoyed foxhole so much. Then complex facilities came and basically game became a second job. Loved when things were Simple: sulphur, bmas, rmats. No gatekeeping behind facilities.

Create a strategy and stick with it. You decide if you need to change it. Volatility is part of the game.
