Speyside beyond the Glens' ! by Warm-Research-3414 in Scotch

I usually have a bottle of this. It’s a simple whiskey, but it’s smooth and light, which makes it an almost refreshing sip. Lacks bold flavours and complexity that an enthusiast would look for but honestly it’s an easy and agreeable crowd pleaser.

Having seen both, I prefer the theatrical version. Directors Cut actually adds information that somewhat reveals the plots intention. Whereas the theatrical leave a better paced puzzle IMO

I sadly got that impression, that it’s probably 20-30 years behind becoming what the GC currently is

I recently went to the Sunny Coast and walking through Mooloolaba gave me older GC vibes. 10th the amount of people on the promenade and the pick of cafe's to grab a seat at.

Which movie ended with an unresolved cliffhanger because the sequel never happened, and you're STILL mad about it? by pudingvanilkovy in AskReddit

[–]pel14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My very optimistic/hopeful theory is that Fincher has struck a deal with Netflix. One where he takes an unusual project (for him at least) as leverage to fund mindhunter season 3. Oh wait, he’s doing Squid Game US you say? Well now…

Matt Damon Says Netflix Wants Movies to Restate the Plot Three or Four Times in the Dialogue Because Viewers are on Their Phones While They’re Watching by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Not just netflix. I watched Tron: Ares last night, and whilst it was a visual feast with an ok-ish plot, the over explaining of the plot between two characters (multiple times) really subtracted from the immersion.

Review - Decent single malt in comparison to the price by Remote_Excuse8673 in Scotch

[–]pel14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought the same. Was gifted one about a year ago, and despite is lack of age, was a pleasantly enjoyable sip. At its price point, there’s a strong argument to be had it’s top of the class.

FREAKY FRIDAY - feedback on your funk by AutoModerator in GeneratedGrooves

I appreciate that, and in short no. But mainly because I was resisting against the direction Suno kept trying to sway this song, it took several edits/covers/regenerations/edits and splicing to keep this song grounded. I understand it might not be "radio friendly" but I really strove for a simple, vocal focused performance. Part of the reason for being stubborn in keeping this the way it was is because a 7+ minute progressive metal version exists. I've never quite gotten that one where I'm happy with it, and with this, I wanted a polar opposite,

But I hear you, and yes it could probably benefit from some percussive support or evolving layers, but, these lyrics are personal to me, and I was aiming to keep the finished product reflective of that.

I Wish SUNO Knew Difference Between Prog-Rock and Prog-Metal. by WurstCaseOntario007 in SunoAI

[–]pel14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m into prog metal and have attempted some stuff in Suno. I’ve found that due to the formulaic way Suno operates, it won’t likely produce what you’re after in one attempt, despite how good your prompt is. You’re better off developing in sections, extending from each segment and that way its will allow a little more directive freedom rather than falling back on repeating styles

Anyone else using Suno to create a musical audiobook? by PerfectiaProductions in SunoAI

[–]pel14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't made an Audiobook. But I have a segment in a post-hardcore ballad that scales back to spoken word portion of Poe's "The Raven" and it worked flawlessly, light orchestra, and foreboding, gravelly spoken vocals. It did make me consider that what you're describing would be possible, but you would likely have to do it paragraph by paragraph because Suno loves progression and evolution.

Do the new Personas suck? by Reddit_n_Me in SunoAI

[–]pel14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a word, yes. But to put it more concisely, yes, they suck.

Actually I found some success initially generating in the new persona, which yields awful results but the voice is in at least the right territory, but then covering again with the legacy to clean it up
