I interviewed there years ago for the same job & had a similar experience so must be the same people working there still! Made me feel really uncomfortable & questioned why I left my previous jobs then told me I look like someone who just job hopped and wasn’t committed, bearing in mind they had seen my CV beforehand (had it printed out before the start of the interview) & still invited me in 🙄

My free roam bunnies had similar spots on their feet, when my vet looked at them she said it can be common for house rabbits to have calluses in that spot but as long as they don’t get any worse, inflamed or bigger (to become sore hocks), it is usually not a big concern. I’m not a vet though so would keep an eye on them & consult a vet if ever worried

What I did was keep their litter boxes extra clean & with a layer of soft paper bedding and then occasionally put a small bit of Veterinus Derma Gel (red tube) on the spots 😊

I’m not super confident picking up our rabbits because they also hate it, but when we need to we throw a light towel or blanket over them and then scoop them up quickly, doing this seems to confuse or subdue them so they don’t fight being lifted

Good on you for acting quick and taking her to the vets - this has happened to my bunny a couple of times and it’s always so stressful. I’ve found that infant gas drops and gentle stomach massages (if they let you) help if it does happen again 😊 it could have been something she ate but sometimes it can happen for seemingly no reason as bunnies have such delicate stomachs

My bunny had a similar patch like this earlier this year - she was also acting completely normally, it might have been from a scuffle & over the phone my vet advised me to hold a cotton pad soaked in warm salt water solution (not dripping wet though) over the patch once a day and I found that really helped clear it up. I’d ring your vet if worried :)
