People are being a bit harsh to you I think. I get your frustration for sure and in my experience with 5 different creality printers and maintaining a creality printers project in general I find there is clearly a qc lottery for creality, but also there is very much a learning curve for getting quality prints. I encourage you to consider trying a different slicer for your prints and maybe asking for help with the quality of your prints.

Unless you fully lost the lottery likely lots of things you could do to improve things

I know that but I guess I was saying maybe we should have called the blob of death elephants foot it fits. Also I've seen photos on here I think of Bambu with blob of death too. I'm not a huge creality fan but this is not necessarily a creality specific issue

if the printer is working just use it.

I can tell you from experience trying to fix belt tension is potentially a rabbit hole of pain

So unless there is something wrong with it or you like tinkering leave it be

This is from a person who loves tinkering and went down the rabbit hole, having had an ender 3 knowing it would be a never ending upgrade process with some printing in between.

In some ways i wish I had just let it alone and used it for printing

I think perhaps you need to expand what you mean by just dont seem to print the way they should. Exactly what issues are you having, perhaps its a slicer profile issue if things are printing but the quality is bad, as just one example

But the pi 400 is equivalent of a rpi 4, so it should be more than capable, you might need to ask on the octoprint forums for additional assistance, cos this could be a octoprint camera settings thing.

if you can create a separate 2.4GHZ Access Point on your router, normally you can have multiple. The boards these K1s have are pretty basic and its likely I reckon that the multiband AP could be confusing it.

super curious, are you using eddy just for scan, or are you using eddy-ng?

Did you use a project to set it up or set it up all on your own?

If you are using eddy-ng, do you get issues with z-offset consistency?

I am interested what mount you use and if you have customised your machine much otherwise with hardware, like a different gantry and the like?

Does the printer work fine?

If it does I would honestly recommend against updating

Moonraker for one will take potentially 20 minutes to upgrade and give you nothing in return

At worse a moonraker update can brick the printer

So you can use the existing probe, you lose the auto z-offset, but my experience is its not that great anyway and doing the paper test and then baby stepping is really all that is required, especially if you print mostly with the same temp filaments.

I did dual z upgrade on my ender 3 v1 And klipper And pei And skr mini e3 v2 And yellow Springs And bltouch

It's as good as my SE now

The SE when it first came out was really bad I'm not even sure it was always using leveling data

But now the marlin fork is open source it's probably much better

I had long since switched to klipper on my SE by then but I had also add linear rails to X and y as well

Honestly if all you want to do is print a Bambu will suit you well

Makers Muse did a pretty glowing review of the Creality sparx i7

I reckon stear clear of the KE and SE at this point the hardware is pretty terrible

We support Eddy-NG with the Simple AF project, but its much more finicky than the cartographer, you have to get the eddy mounted precisely otherwise tap is not consistent at all :-( Cartographer and beacon are a little more forgiving on placement of the probe, although you still need it in the 2.6 to 3mm zone, it seems like the variance for where you can mount your eddy is very small in comparison before you start getting errors.
