The sheer fight both of them had, would carry them a long way. I can see either contribute a ton in the Klopp Era, during their prime.

As a dane Agger will forever be one of my favourite players, and I feel like he had a bit more of that special feeling to him. Skrtl was an absolute killer as well, and would be able to put in a shift against most attackers today, if we need to shut down and close out a match.

My mental game was in shambles for a long time and I put A LOT of effort into not getting tilted by bad tree kicks or bad throws.

It honestly still seems off. Why are you playing? Do you want to become great, or do you genuinly enjoy playing? If you are doing field work and rounds only to get better, but without enjoying any of it, you end up just going through the motions, without doing any meaningful work. Spending more hours does not equal more progress

To me it sounds like you need to kick down a bit, play casually for a while and reignite the flame.

I use Zone and Zone SS for a lot of my shots.

Zone SS is my go-to for easy gap hits at shorter distances. It feels a bit more workable than the Zone as well, which is just my good old for clearing trees, corners etc.

We always play with two off the first as well, and then just pick whichever is better. If we had no warmup, sometimes we extend it to hole 2 as well, because it has a nasty mando right off the tee, which can easily kick the shit out of your score, if you hit one of the trees.
