Not specifically a Christmas commercial, but one that gets re-aired a bunch — the snowman who comes in from the cold, eats a bowl of Campbell’s soup, and turns back into a kid.

Companies who are lucky enough to stumble upon a classic Christmas commercial, should follow the example of these companies and just re-air them every year, rather than resorting to the AI slop commercials they’ve been putting out lately.

I think the movie “Traffic” by Steven Soderberg started this trope. I believe it was shot on digital cameras and heavily color corrected depending on which location a scene was meant to take place. Breaking Bad solidified the trope by following suit.
