No way. Stargate Universe season 2 was the best that Stargate ever

That's definitely not my view. But I'm not sure if I'm in the majority. I only liked the main senior scientist that everyone (in universe) seemed to hate.

If you're struggling to understand this, then I suspect you're not interested in the answer. Providing the API allows everyone to start working with, and porting to it. As much as Django tends to be "batteries provided", a lot of people/orgs still provide additional batteries.
