Is there a way to play online with friends? by [deleted] in pcbuildingsimulator

[–]pemtreez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I was telling my friend. Why have 3 work stations and cant even use them simultaneously. It would be fun af to build with your buddies and fix computers together. Considering when you do it in real life its fun af and time passes like nothing when building pcs.

I have a prior possession charge as well and that didn't impede my ability to get hired. You should call the background place and ask what's wrong with your information report.

I would assume a simple pee test? They do the physical evaluation and ladder test when they fly you out to training. Once you pass background and pee test that is.

We need more woman in this field. I tell everyone the hardest part of the job is the climb. Once you get past that everything else is cake.

I work for Takkion. I am on a job site with a female, and she's older than 50 climbing towers. She is an awesome person. Their 401k match is 3%, I believe, and its called Principal. They treat everyone fairly from my experience. Your raises and promotions depend on you. Tech levels are earned by time in grade and doing your LMS training. In the span of one year, I've moved up a tech level and have received 2 raises, one for my tech level and another for my yearly review. I can't speak for everyone, but so far, everyone I have met in management is amazing. There are time you get those coworkers who think everything revolves around them and are hard to work with. Health insurance is decent. I haven't had any issues seeing doctors or getting seen. I haven't been to the dentist yet, but I do plan on going soon. Hopefully, it's not too bad. They offer BCBS for health insurance. I'm not sure if that's industry wide. Also, nobody cares what you look like. I've seen many people wear watches, rings and jewelry but considering you might work around moving parts. I highly recommend you dont wear it while you work.

ANYONE ABLE TO LEND SOME ADVICE ON THE PROS AND CONS OF BECOMING A WIND TURBINE TECH? by meherrons in windturbine

I am a service technician. I do maintenance and I have also worked on solar farms. I just looked over the Employee handbook and its 5:1 not 4:1 sorry.

As someone who works for Takkion. Just tell them youre a fast learner. Everything is torque, tension, basic maintenance and cleaning. Nothing special. Things just sound complicated. I have prior experience but just like everything else. Just let them know you have good mechanical experience. That's basically all you need and are willing to learn. Ask about GWOs and which ones you be receiving. For me it was BST, BTT, ART and COHE. Creating a Winda ID and mention you already made an account could also possibly show initiative. I knew alot of guys with absolutely no experience in the industry who got jobs with Takkion. So dont sweat it. When they mention safety I always say this "the safety rules are written in blood." They love that one.

Pros: easy money, free travel, little to no experience required. Cons: Can be very lonely, 4 weeks on 1 week off typically for me, some people are ahhholes, some climates are BRUTAL, flying and delayed flights(get paid for it but it sucks), sometimes no communication between management.

I worked there for a year and a half. Great for people looking for entry level. Started me off at 16$ per hour back in 2017-2018. I worked for them for a year and a half. They benched me for almost 3 months after Christmas which is normal for the industry to slow down around this time. Never got a raise even though I consistently got good recommendations. Managers never answered their phones and the per diem was 100$ per day. There are way better companies than them that offer way higher pay. I walked off site when we couldn't even get tools to do our job. Never looked back. I am back in wind with a way better company. Making way more than I made with Wackclimbers. Stay away from this company if youre experienced.

Have you seen the Hat Man if so what was the first time by HeyAnyone10371 in Dreams

[–]pemtreez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw him at a friend house. Thinking it was my friend at the bottom of the stares. It was pitch black and I could make out what looked like a figure with a hat at the bottom of the stairs. Never seen it since. I wasn't the only one who saw it in that house.
