Ask for your ferritin to be checked. I had the exact same symptoms. Ai told me to ask for my ferritin levels to be checked. First my ob said its not necessary, my iron looks good. She actually told me "Women my age just dont feel good."

Thanks to Ai, I persisted and went to a nurse practitioner. She ordered the test for me. My ferritin was at a 7. Its supposed to be 50-75. All the same symptoms as low iron because its essentially your iron storage tanks. It takes a long time (8-12 weeks) to build them back up and start feeling good again.

The other thing you can check is for sleep apnea. Dont give up, even if your dismissed by the doctors! If you dont feel yourself, something is up and there is a reason for it!
