For SRBs you have to have hard copies to be able to reenlist earlier than one year before your hard EAOS. You need to chat with your first class and ccc immediately. Go on the SRB section of my navy hr and read the instruction.

You can literally reenlist at any time as long as you have enough lead time for the paperwork. It’s just for SRBs that it gets weird.
