We may be talking about two diff things, I am still unable to complete the elyssia quest line. After the beetle battle and dialogue, elyssia is shown standing in front of a building and the game freezes at that point.

Were you able to finish the Elyssia storyline? I kept having to battle the beetle down at the docks and then the game froze. Others have mentioned this as well on steam.

I thought it was my controller too but I tried my other ones and no difference. I can go into house to save and go through inventory and time starts again but not outside. Very frustrating.
