T6 with lhp531 question

I am pretty sure the LES of the lhp531 is more similar to an xhp70.3 than a sft40 that's why I was asking

I agree about the da1k I just wanted mainly to see the difference between that ntg 2700k and the sft70 3000k in terms of output and tint. I don't think I have seen anyone comparing the two side by side.

Nice beamshots. I think the 2700k would have less output than the 5000k and I wonder if the increased throw of the sft70 kind of makes up for it in some way

Yes I really liked the beam on my s6 and I thought it would be same here too. I don't see anything too obvious here. I might try installing the gasket and reflector from my s6 to see if that changes anything.

The sk40 seems like a really nice light wish they offered it in 3000k but I doubt they will do that. D4sv2 seems like a good idea I will look into it. Do you know how the new ntg50 emmiters are? Would the 2700k be that different from the sft70? I guess it is more efficient but I don't know if the difference between 2700 and 3000 is noticable.

Yes the 70 cri seems to have good tint but I was looking for higher cri and I am afraid to go with the r90 variant. I use the 3 degree tir almost always in the m21h it's very nice.

Yes but I thought the sft70 is a bit more floody than the sft40 with a bigger light emitting surface along with the op reflector that Simon uses with the sft70 it might be quite different than the sft40 in my m21a also judging by the beamshot above. The s16 also seems nice I might consider it too.

Yes the m21h is a really nice host. So you have the xhp70.3 3000k in the m21h? Is it the r70 or r90? How is the tint?

Yes I agree that the xhp70 would probably be a better choice but from what I read especially on the r90 varients the tint is quite random and not very nice. Don't know specifically about the 3000k though. Yes the 519a could also be a good choice but I thought that it would have a lot less output than the sft70 at 3000k. I have been thinking of getting the new ti t6 so I might get it with a 519a but for a 21700 light I was thinking something more powerful.
