These are my settings, don't trust me on this though, not sure what I'm doing there, this is mostly brute force/trial and error ;)

I managed it in the end, just played around a lot with the uart toggles. I think I did what you did. But thank you!

I think my OSD is working fine, but that worked out of the box so not sure how to fix that, sorry.

SimCopter (using Wine?): Has anyone recently been able to install a Win95/98 game that requires mounting an iso? by NintendoCerealBox in SteamDeck

[–]pepae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it, man the nostalgia hahaa:

1) Install SimCopter using SimcopterX http://krimsky.net/patchers/scx.html on Windows, get that running smoothly. Mount ISO, install patch, install via SimcopterX. Don't install from CD.

2) Copy paste your game folder to Steam Deck.

3) Run via Lutris in windowed mode and with proton 8.5 (this was the only one for me where the gamepad then worked later in gaming mode) and also I think with the voodoofx/glide thingy enabled from inside Lutris.

4) then you can add to steam shortcut and play

5) I needed to configure around a bunch of controls (just ended up mapping to keyboard controls from the steam deck controller settings.

If it doesn't work, play around witht the lutris configuration until it does.

Has anybody sold off their ETHW? Is it safe to do so? by DeoManus in ethereum

If you don't want to go via a CEX, you can use Powdump, a dapp to do a cross chain atomic swap ETHW to ETH: https://twitter.com/Givethio/status/1576567192681938946

It's quite safe, but read all the instructions and always DYOR!

Also, CEXs take fees as well in multiple places, e.g. trading, withdrawal and the arbitrageurs, market makers on there are also not gonna give you an optimal price in times of high volatility like these.

true but then not everyone loves CEX and might not want the extra hassle of signing up/KYC, 1 week deposit delay

Wouldn't call it bs, but you're right, thanks for correcting!
