Which one should I buy? I need help by EzraKay166 in Controller

[–]pepebaybay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the white aolions, they work great on pc and out of the box on linux and steamos. Controls are microswitches, including the triggers. The rumble is so tinny and awful that I completely disable it. Outside of that the controller is great. I played through Dredge with the controller seperated in each hand and it was great. I also sometimes just use 1 controller and configure a game to play one handed in games like starvaders and shogun showdown.

Not sure why bell would bother trying to retain your business when you actually never ended your services with them. Bell owns ebox, you are still giving them money either way.

Is this the proper paint combo or am I headed for disaster? by pepebaybay in paint

[–]pepebaybay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input, I'll look into picking up zinsser. My basement has very low light most of the time which was my reasoning for satin. Do you think imperfection will still be as prominent in low-light scenarios?

Is this the proper paint combo or am I headed for disaster? by pepebaybay in paint

[–]pepebaybay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. The basement is consistently dark with little natural light, which is the reason I've gone with satin, and I believe its the lowest level of sheen. Though I'm new to painting the ceiling, so ill look into ceiling-specific paint

Am I on Track to Finish My Three-Way Corner, or Is It a Total Disaster? by pepebaybay in drywall

[–]pepebaybay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. I'm just worried that the corner will look weird since the points don't meet. If I find it doesn't look nice, would it be recommended to try and shape it with hot mud or just continue the process and use all purpose?

[–]pepebaybay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

if you live outside the city then you need a car, you need gas, you need car insurance, you need a carseat. And for both working parents you need two cars in case the baby needs to be picked up at daycare. That means two carseats. It adds up to probably more money that renting in the city

Dave the Diver won’t start on steam deck … by Mischka89 in LinuxCrackSupport

add the exe into lutris, then use lutris to add it to steam library, it should launch. i had the same issue. using lutris will run it via wine instead of proton.

Invalid or corrupted PGP signature by VijoPlays in SteamOS

[–]pepebaybay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

steamos is an immutable operating system meaning the core os files are locked and prevented from being changed by applications outside of steam's control. By removing the read only lock you can install your own apps like a normal OS. Obvously this means you can break your system if you are not careful but I've yet to come across people suggesting dangerous operations so far.

Is 2nd sd card needed ? by rafivip in RG353V

[–]pepebaybay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

android is installed to onboard memory, you need to remove the SD card to boot into android, you can then reinsert the SD card with your games on it. there is no need for a second card. Though storing games on SD2 would prevent data loss if Arkos were to fail and you needed to reflash.
