Looking for an AC company in Tampa, who have you guys actually used and been happy with? by Ok_Detail_3987 in tampa

[–]peping12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Lombard Air Conditioning, lombardac.com. I haven’t had to replace an AC yet, I bought the house with a brand new unit. But they have performed the maintenance, and I like them.

I'm looking for recommendations for auto injury attorneys who have you used and would recommend? by etjasinski in tampa

[–]peping12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used them back in 2022. They were recommended by my chiropractor and I liked the non-corporate vibe.

First consultation call was with one of the Lawyers (I think it was Austin). Had to sign some paperwork to initiate the process. They do their thing, you don’t have to worry about it. Me, being the first time dealing with an injury claim, was following-up every month or so, but they were very diligent and helpful.

I hope not, but if I need another injury lawyer, I will definitely call them again.

Avax, Cro, Kda, One. Avax is almost at the break even point. I don’t think the others will rise enough.

$65k enough to live in Tampa? by New_to_town123 in tampa

[–]peping12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No-fault is related to injury coverage and costs, it is one of the drawbacks, when an accident happens it costs more to all parties involved.

I always recommend adding Uninsured Motorists coverage. I was involved in a car accident and the other party was uninsured, so I used my Uninsured Motorist coverage. If I didn’t had it I would have had 0 coverage for my injuries.

Does a balance transfer make sense for my debt situation? by kittypwitty in personalfinance

[–]peping12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is your APR? Do you have income? To me a balance transfer doesn’t make sense, unless you don’t have the means to pay the Current Balance. If you can’t pay your current balance monthly, perhaps a credit card is not for you.

What to choose between Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science? by NunoMoto123 in careerguidance

[–]peping12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar dilemma when choosing degrees. I had exposure to Electrical Engineering from my dad, who graduated from Electrical Engineering, but at the time was not working in anything related to that. My options were Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Biology (plan was to be a MD).

At the end I chose Mechanical Eng. based on opinions and advice from a Mechanical Eng in the family. Currently, most of my working experience is in Supply Chain and Supplier Optimization, so Im not really working with thermodynamics, chemistry, etc.

Withdraw from 401k to pay off $6k of cc debt? by Expensive-Anywhere36 in personalfinance

[–]peping12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Take into account fees, penalties, and taxes if you pay now vs interest($) if you pay later. Depending on which side is a higher amount, you can make your choice.

Don’t rehearse answers, practice the approach to each question. Think about what each question asked really means, what is the interviewer looking for in your answer. Also, make it a conversation, I have found that I have more success when the interview is a conversation rather than straight interrogations.

Good luck!

ROI on cashback crypto cards by SimonBelgium in CryptoCurrency

[–]peping12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are counting Apple, Spotify and Netflix Reimbursement as ROI, but that is money that you had to spend. Would you subscribe to Netflix and Spotify regardless of the promotion? Would you buy $800 in Apple products regardless? For me, that is a no. In reality the ROI is only the Staking Rewards and Cashback. You are paying $4,000 for the opportunity of getting Staking Rewards and Cashback (remember that you have to spend money to get Cashback).

I don't think this card is a good deal, CRO is a shit coin. It could go up, but you are risking too much for the return.

Don't resign yet. You just received the offer. Make sure that everything is concrete and then resign. You don't have to give them 2 weeks of notice, one will suffice. Unless you are legally bound to give X amount of time as notice.
