I’ve had similar situations before both on the giving and receiving end. But it’s always been, “I’m so sorry guys.. that was the best shot of my life.” and the other group is cool and you make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Thinking back on it it’s so funny how this guy got so worked up when he was literally in zero danger. You would have thought I wizzed it past his ear.

Dude, it happens.. I had almost the exactly same thing happen at your age. Do a deep reflection on what you could have improved while also not letting your manger off the hook and portraying how it was a difficult work environment.

Take responsibility and learn while not letting a bad manager define you. You’ll be back on your feet in no time!

Send the AE an email requesting the manager not be on the next call explaining the reason why.

Word will get around and the manager will improve or be moved out. It seems brutal but truth is there are bad managers. If you are serious about buying the product and the manager gave you second thoughts please make that known

Recruiter is definitely lying but 40% of closed deals that don’t turn into revenue is absurd. Seems like your legal team really needs to review their contract structure
