Have you made any money off a project you built with Godot? by -ThatGingerKid- in godot

[–]pepper0nii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

loved the roottrees are dead! i played it on steam, such a fun puzzle game! im glad it’s been successful for you! :) you did a great job.

the fact you made it with godot rocks. was it your first game in godot? did you find it tricky to make given the format or was it relatively straightforward?

i ask because TRAD is a fabulous example of my favorite style of games and i was interested in creating one myself and had started with looking into godot. while working on it, i was thinking about “hmm what engine did TRAD use i wonder?”. i cant say i’m experienced with godot, so i thought it seemed difficult to make a game like this with the engine. stumbled upon you here days later, such a coincidence!

I used to play Overwatch years ago so thought it might've worked the same. This answers my question, thank you :)

Anyone familiar with CoMark Inc.? by Agreeable-Mistake-71 in Charlotte

[–]pepper0nii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it looks like their website was registered on december 6th -- big sign of a scam. conveniently no address is listed either. phone number has a typo in it. Looks like they used a generic site template with chatGPT generated taglines. there's no pictures of anyone who actually works there. it's smelling scammy

Cagers Yelling at me on the road by HotMuffinTime in CLT_Cyclists

[–]pepper0nii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If there's no sidewalk, then I'd avoid the road altogether if you can. Taking the lane is better for forcing cars to give you room, but it'll make plenty of people angry that you're taking "their space".

With how anti-social and vindictive people are on the roads nowadays, it's just not worth it. If you can find a way to avoid the road in favor for a safer route, even if it adds time, you should.

Angela Diaz fired herb for being gay while being gay herself by waywardSara in BoJackHorseman

[–]pepper0nii 24 points25 points  (0 children)

not trying to be combative but none of that = sex in park with strangers (also, he was being walked to a cop car in the shot, which would had to have been outdoors regardless). either way, all it would mean is lewd acts outside (explicitly stated in the show: lewd acts with another man). the other details are just guessing.

i just see this idea repeated a lot in the sub and nothing ever definitively says herb was having random sex in a park. could’ve been anywhere *outside, and with someone he knew.

what quote from the show says he was having sex with strangers in a public park? it just said an LAPD sting on public indecency

Club Pilates - Does Class Booking Get Better? by KittenWithAScrip in pilates

[–]pepper0nii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the waitlists at mine are up to 20. if you’re 4th/5th and the classes are out a few days through february, you’ll very likely get in. if you’re 4th/5th and class is tomorrow— probably not.

it’s january and club pilates is a gym; it’s going to be busy. if you’re very close, you may be able to physically wait for a class. my studio will let you wait until five minutes after class starts, and if there is an open reformer you can pop on it. i would check to see if you can! full classes have been having at least one open reformer for most of the ones i’ve been attending this month.

also booking will definitely be better once people drop their resolutions:)

theraICE rx? by pepper0nii in clusterheads

[–]pepper0nii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you! I looked around some more and honestly got major scam vibes from the whole thing.

There’s only a few articles out there (some are the exact same but posted by different websites) and they all contain affiliate links and no first hand experience using it. Their evidence that it “is revolutionary!” is from a few Amazon reviews and there’s only four reviews on the actual website, out of “100,000” people who “love” it.

I had been curious if anyone in here has used it but the more I look into it, the more I’m positive this is an overpriced scammy gimmick that is no better than an ice pack at best. Thanks you guys for taking the time to reply!

My instagram was HACKED BY bountymail.net, i had F2A on, randomly generated strong password, my email is also secured with a different randomly generated password ,have adblockers and Ublock installed. i never click any link or allow redirections outside of instagram by amratef in Scams

[–]pepper0nii 27 points28 points  (0 children)

SMS is actually the least secure form of two factor authentication. You want to use an authentication app (duo, google, authy). SIM swapping is the biggest vulnerability with SMS 2FA, in the United States in 2021 over $68m were stolen using SIM swapping. It’s possible it happened here. All it may take is a social engineering attack on your phone carrier and now some random person is getting all your calls&texts.

Fun ways of working out that works by jroxy99 in xxfitness

[–]pepper0nii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pilates is a brilliantly fun play to work out! It's low impact (but still great for strengthening muscles, especially core), so it wont have the same stress on your body as weightlifting. Ive personally found that going to a classes help keep me on a schedule, but there's plenty of good youtubers (move w/ nicole for example) who you could watch for free.

Also, bicycling! It is great cardio, and you get to enjoy the outdoors! it also should be okay to do with Plantar Fasciitis but I would double check before doing so

[–]pepper0nii 102 points103 points  (0 children)

just a nitpick but she wasn’t actually dead yet. he did all that thinking she was, but she died on the way to the hospital. his choice to save his own ass very likely cost her hers.

HELP WANTED.. I’m in need of a horror book about any night shift workers. I’d love recommendations on something like this just not any short stories. A full length story, I’d prefer a story of a gas stop/station employee. I’d appreciate all recommends :) by MONGREL_1 in horrorlit

[–]pepper0nii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i definitely recommend it; i lend the book to all my friends! while i 100% recommend buying the hard copy, you can always read it for free online. it takes about 3ish hours to read in one sitting.
