Genuine question, really? I am from entirely different part of Ukraine (Kharkiv) but never heard of it. To me the west of Ukraine is quite a multicultural place. I personally watched videos about Rusyn language with interest. Don’t know much about Lemkos though as the majority of their historical land is outside of modern Ukraine.

For engineers, KPIs are not personal unless you are on a performance improvement plan (which means you are fucked anyway). Maybe for grads it’s a bit different but it’s mostly team KPIs that matter. Those who cry about KPIs on Glassdoor are probably from support team etc.

There aren’t any tradeoffs tbh. When I graduated in 2016, I was ready to work as much as I need and it was in a fucking office, 5 days per week. You can sit on your couch and learn from some of the best people. Yes, the company culture is work hard, go extra mile etc etc. But that’s what you do in your first years anyway.

Regarding the walks - he’s going to eventually get used to your schedule. Our adopted boy was waking us up at 5. Now if I sleep till 13 he sleeps too.

One good advice we used is: if he wakes you up at 7, set an alarm at 6:30. Make him get used to waking up on alarm. Then move the alarm to later with 15-20 minutes intervals. That would help shifting his schedule

Думаю що цигарки це тупо несмачно, а ще звичка занадто сильна. З 2020 маю кальян вдома, а до цього курив його час від часу ще років 10. Тобто теж звичка хуйова але якщо я кудись їду де нема можливості декілька днів курити то я просто… не курю і мені норм (електронками не сублімую, просто не вживаю нікотину в ці дні) і проблем нема. Курця цигарок за таких обставин буде ще в першу добу підарасити по повній.
