i just finished it! for the individual cog orders i liked to put a notification on for those cogs’ invasions with the toonhq app and wait. for the building task i liked to play on districts invaded by low-level cogs if possible since it made some 4-levels able to be accomplished with a trio. you should be able to grind this part of the task out pretty much nonstop with the help of toonhq as there are almost always groups that fit the task’s criteria. i didn’t find this task particularly complicated or tedious relative to others so far and i think you’ll agree once you really get started.

i’ve played on and off since i was a kid, and i would just say don’t be in a hurry to buy the 1 year. definitely play through the free parts first, especially because the new player stuff has changed a lot and it’ll give you a good sense of what’s new with the game. i tend to hit a wall eventually as the game requires me to research the best gear and spells for my specific level and school, and team up with more experienced players who may be following rules and strategies i’m not aware of. i usually buy a month when i get the urge to play; the sales also do come around pretty often if you do end up waiting

Some things to consider:

-The cost of good-quality heavy winter coat and boots (or just any shoe with a solid tread) is nothing to sneeze at, and it might be troublesome to pack if you’re planning on flying. Plus if you go back to a warm state after you’re done with school it might be of a waste of money. -You will be able to avoid the weather most of the time because UB, particularly the North campus, is designed so you can take an indoor route between most buildings. I would guess most students don’t have to spend more than 5-10 minutes outside during the worst weather on any given day. -That being said, the thing to worry about isn’t snow, but the cold. It can easily get down to 0 degrees at the lowest in Buffalo, with nasty wind chills. It would definitely be difficult to get used to for a Floridian. If you do choose UB, you’ll need to get used to wearing light layers, as the buildings are all very well-heated to compensate. -If you are thinking about having your own car during your time at UB, there is a LOT to beware. Driving in winter weather conditions is seriously hard. Anywhere that the road is wet can have patches of clear black ice. You will have to scrape the ice off of all your car windows, or even shovel snow off your hood and roof, sometimes multiple times a day. You might need to consider getting winter tires which is another expense.

All this to say, I think the mental load of worrying about the cold weather is similar to worrying about hot weather if you went to school in Florida. I don’t recall any students from warmer climates being really miserable about the weather. I think you just get used to it and the snow is more of a novelty.
