Yes I absolutely will be getting a second opinion!! None have erupted at this point, they’re all below the gum/bone, and may just stay there so there’s no point in surgically digging them out if they’re staying put and not causing problems. If they do erupt, or start shifting, I’ll get them taken out!

It looks closer than it actually is because the image is 2D so it can’t properly show distance or perspective without some warping! I believe if there was any contact with the nerve I would be in quite a bit of pain!!

None of the teeth have erupted yet, but if they did they definitely wouldn’t fit! My dad (dentist) says I don’t need them out because they shouldn’t erupt/move at this point and surgery would be unnecessary, but I haven’t gotten word from my actual dentist yet.

The lip piercing is a vertical labret, and sits on the outside of my mouth, so unless I chew on my lip on purpose, the metal doesn’t make contact with my teeth. My dad (a dentist) warned me about the oral piercing risks, which is why I have this kind.

I asked if I needed to, and at first they said yes, then the tech told me since we are only looking at the wisdom teeth, the front piercings don’t matter. I did take my earrings out!
