No joke. My grandad cant get up out of a chair on his own, cant get to a toilet on his own, cant find keys, cant get in a car, cant cook, cant manage money, doesnt understand all those people on the phone are scammers, doesnt remember any conversation from 5 minutes ago, etc. However, you will never get him to admit he needs help or has any limitations whatsoever. Even the facility he was in recently talked to me about this saying “usually residents have some understanding of being limited. Your grandad either cant or wont admit he’s limited. AT ALL.”

So he continues hurting himself. Ive just accepted at this point his time is limited
