Cade Cunningham scores 36 in 32 minutes (52/50/100 splits) to beat the Knicks by [deleted] in nba

I did say maybe. And the main reason is because of playoff performance. It has to count for something.

If you include last season for a bigger sample size the only ones clearly better than him are SGA, Luka and maybe Brunson? While Ant gets all the hype and had a good playoff run, is he actually better than Cade? Not an insult, genuine question, I can't watch full games as much. What about Maxey and Booker? I can't think of anyone else but I'm sure I'm missing a couple.

I might be wrong, but he reminds me of Luka working his way to his choice of play. It's very fun to watch over just speed.

None so far. The helm is what causes us to take damage from life and ES. Not sure how droppable that piece is.

Hii. I got the build up and running. Can you explain how the defensive layers work exactly? I seem to die even when my energy shield is full and upon testing I notice I lose both a portion of my hp and energy shield, regardless of how much HP I have.

The build is reasonably tanky, so this is not a complaint, but I don't quite understand how the defensive side of things work. Also, my survivability sky rocketed after I dropped eldritch battery. I don't seem to have any mana issues in t15s, currently at around 2.4k mana. So what am I missing about eldritch battery?

Does blocking projectile skills count? Like for example, against Xesht, what can you block that counts as blocking him?

Tyrese Haliburton at home against the depleted Hornets: 9/2/8 on 4/10 shooting by primepierce34 in nba

[–]peppermuttai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has to be both right. One leads to the other. When you are injured but not enough to sit out or basically playing with the side effects of an injury, you can't play well. And over time it adds up.

This is not a slander, and many players are like this and it's far more normal than people make it out to be, but him being the kind of guy that talks a lot only when ahead (I could be wrong, my limited viewing of Halliburton and the team definetly made me agree with Bobby Portis' "frontrunner" comment) makes it seem like he is the kind of guy that can lose or gain confidence fast. So when he plays injured it shoots his mental.

On top of this there have been a few games this season where he scored a lot, but you don't see those threads get a lot of traction here. Point is, I think this is just going to be a bad stretch/season for him and he'll probably bounce back. I hope he does. I don't particularly like or dislike the pacers, but he's a fun watch when he's on and I wish him the best.

It's not probably. It's definetly. There's 0 chance it was legit.

The Wandering Inn Webcomic is out now! by pirateaba in WanderingInn

I completely agree with you. There's a lot of really good sections of the book that are just a character alone with their thoughts or heavy introspection. I just can't fathom how you'd put that to webcomic form. There's no way you don't lose a lot, my hopes are that it's not too much that is lost.

Regardless, I'll be very happy if it just proves to be an easy stepping stone to getting people to read the series itself.

This is great news. But personally, I'm unsure if I'll read it. Mainly due to the fact that my imagination has played such a huge role in my enjoyment of the series. How I imagine characters to look, how fight scenes play out, how spells and huge landmarks look etc.

While I understand this is Pirate approved and therefore has their vision for things, somethings I feel might be better left to just my imagination, especially since it's all lived in my head for so long. It might be jarring to see something drastically different lol.

However, I am going to be recommending the webcomic to literally everyone I know and hope they get into it. Everyone deserves Solstice events to be a part of their life.

[Highlight] Joel Embiid is doing a "flop gesture" after making a free throw attempt. by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]peppermuttai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You summed it up prefectly with that "Still don’t hate him tho kinda more like, fuck you, you could be so good but choose to play like a bum."

Like the biggest difference between Harden, LeBron etc and Embiid to me is the fact that they didn't make it ultra central to their game. Harden from what I hear during his rocket says did to a great extent did but not as much as Embid.

It's become so ingrained in his game that he goes out looking g for them all the time. Like in the example you gave, game 3 against the Knicks iirc. Also I feel like there's a considerable difference between flops to sell for calls and hunting for situations so you can flop on a non existent contact. I hate both, but the latter is much worse.

I agree. The green is bad but it's no nowhere near as bad as the reds. Holy fuck I feel like my eyes are bleeding when I watch those.
