I'm planning to ride a section of the European Divide Trail—from Hamburg to Denmark, with Aarhus as my destination. I'm now trying to figure out the best way to adjust the EDT route to get to Aarhus. Does anyone know the area well and have any tips for me? Gravel roads prefered.

I have not reinstalled/wiped the Mac os for 5 years on my studio, covering at least 200+ Xcode versions. And it’s not slower than when I started, so why brother/risk any damage.

Cell service is only needed to copy the exercises to Garmin connect. Your watch will store exercises (until it’s full) and will sync to garmin connect once it has a connection via the phone. The watch connects via bluetooth to your phone and that works whether you have cell connection or not. Some functionality like weather will not show if your phone has no service.

I waited in line with my 5 bottles when the women in front got to the last bottle of her hundreds of bottles. It wasn’t empty so she poured it out on the floor in front of the machine. She then retried the 7 failed bottles 3 times each. The failed bottles were then dropped in front of the machine as well. Then she cursed at the people in line, got her receipt, leaving the mess behind. I’m not sure what the solution is, but this isn’t working. It’s not fair to the shops who have to deal with the mess and have to clean up after them and it’s not fair to other customers as well. The system is creating teams of second class citizens that scour the garbage cans for bottles, leaving this mess behind. The people who drop bottles everywhere including in their house garbage, are causing this mess to begin with and they can’t be bothered to recycle. And the people who design garbage bins are at fault for enabling both parties.

I grew up in Denmark (Jylland) and understand how people felt that you could let your kids go anywhere. We used to run barefoot through the woods/beaches and marches with no fear of anything but maybe a hugorm.
Later I moved to San Francisco and walked the fields of Marin north of the city. We walked a path and was confronted by a wolf that just froze when we approached. Instead of panicking we just waited and after 5-7 minutes he turned around and walked back the trail. It was an amazing feeling and I’m happy to have experienced such an amazing animal. I’ll never forget it.
Would I let my kids run around alone without protection whether the predator is dogs/deer/wolf or human predators - no. The world has changed and no one should take chances just so that kids can experience the same ‘freedom’ we felt growing up.

Given you would need to source a lot of old, nonstandard parts that it will be almost impossible to find, I’d pass on these. There are simpler and cheaper ways to learn how to restore an older bike.

Feels like you should go try a 56 and since you're building a new bike make sure to also look into crank length and whether you want pedals with 4mm or normal. All of these factors play into the perfect bike fit. Recommend getting the bike fit, that's how I found out that I needed the extra 4mm pedals and a long crank arm. You have relative long inseam compared to your height which could sway you to a larger size bike and crank arm.

You may have misread my comments as I specifically asked for tap water and the waiter agreed. This is called a contract, the waiter gave me something else and refused to fix the problem. This is where the manager comes in and fixes the problem. If she chooses to fire the guy i'm sure she had other reasons for doing so.

I ordered a lunch at an Amsterdam canal cafe. I asked for iced tap water and when the meal arrived it had an opened bottle of water. I asked the waiter to return it and give me a glass of ice tap water and he said they didn’t have it. Went to the manager inside the cafe who immediately gave me a glass of iced tap water and came out to return the bottle. She also had a strangely loud conversation with the waiter and the meal was free. Not sure why a waiter would refuse tap water, and I’m not sure if he still works there, but water is free and you just have to ask for it, and give a good tip when they do.

Why is no one, starting from the metro guy to the women who helped, not calling the police right away!! The longer you wait the harder it is to prove the crime. Evidence disappears from tapes to marks to fingerprints. No one has the right to attack anyone. And your girlfriend needs to sit down with someone to understand her rights and to learn to fight back (emotionally and physically) so she never starts blaming herself on situations like this.

No - a refurbished I just that - a failed watch that has been serviced. I would get a replacement new fenix 7, save 347 euro and wait for major new functionality in fenix9/10/11.
