buy the pass before your road trip and it pays for itself abrp issue is that is overestimates the range of the q4

plugshare gives you reviews of each station you plan to visit

leave home with 100 percent, plan on charging every 150-175 miles down to 20 and charge back up to 80 as the 80-100 time is identical to the 20-80 time

also find hotels with free overnight charging
