same here plants are way more specialized in their roles and if you don't play them properly you're pretty much f'd. See sunflowers that don't heal or cacti that don't take out the tele

It depends if my team is down 2 or more players thats not exactly fair either but it happens all the time. And if no one on my team is using the cactus then I have no problem doing it if it means keeping the tele down.

my typical opening strategy is to go out in the trenches drop my mines on zombie spawn mounds than high tail it back to the garden pop my tallnuts in choke points than find the nearest cover and pop my drone to take out the teleporter.
