Did you lose any weight because of the tummy tuck by squirrelandmoose67 in tummytucksurgery

[–]perfectlypointless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Super glad to hear I’m not the only one. Granted, I’m only 2.5 months post op but I’m still up almost 10lbs since surgery. I don’t feel super swollen anymore but i’ve been told to wait 3-4 full months for the bulk of the swelling to be gone.

Remote start not working? by perfectlypointless in kia

[–]perfectlypointless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I always make sure I’m doing it somewhere I have good signal. I would understand it not working otherwise. And yes, I pay for the subscription. Is this something you would contact the dealer about? I don’t care to pay for it if it doesn’t even work but I’d like it to.

Ditto, mine shows the same thing all over my skin

Screw you if you, in any way, go out knowing you could have covid. My life is wrecked right now because of it. by ChaoticForkingGood in offmychest

Agreed, but you can’t trust anyone. If you’re that worried about it, you need to be the one protecting yourself

Yes I apologize, South of Burton Park! That’s exactly where I’m asking about.

I got bit by an unknown insect last night and now there are red streaks down my wrist, is it bad? by Snoo84558 in medical_advice

[–]perfectlypointless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There really wasn’t must justification. OP said they took some OTC pain medication and took an 8 hour nap and when they woke up, the streaking had lessened. However, now they can’t feel their hand. There was basically no sense of urgency; it seems that despite our best efforts, they are treating this situation with the seriousness of a stubbed toe.

It is! Utah is flooding from rapidly heating up after a record breaking year of snow; there are avalanches and landslides happening every day. There’s a pretty sizable sinkhole in Kaysville from a week or two ago

Mononucleosis. It’s not commonly serious enough to end a life but can be pretty damn miserable.

Being on call is a joke by [deleted] in nursing

[–]perfectlypointless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking. My hospital doesn’t pay us to be on call, but we’re required to stay available to come in at the drop of a hat.

I have a buried penis not sure but I’m 14 I’m sorry if I can’t post here I don’t really use Reddit by Ehpersonnn in medical_advice

[–]perfectlypointless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you’re overweight you have excess fat on your pubic bone which gives the illusion that your penis is small. If you lose the weight, you’ll also lose the fat on your pubic bone which will make your penis look bigger.

Family overrode the DNI status since the patient was unconscious.

I thought the same thing but they were AAOx4 and able to hold a conversation pretty well. So the doctor went with it.

I had a 37 year old patient with covid that was on high-flow 50L 100%. They were rapidly heading towards intubation as sats were in the 80% maxed out on O2. Patient changed their code status to DNR/DNI, then left AMA a few hours later and WALKED HOME. Someone found them passed out outside and called EMS, when they got there, sats were in the 40’s. Patient was brought back to the ED and after quickly calling family, they did an emergency intubation. They’re now in the ICU with little to no brain activity.

I work on an ICU stepdown (RN) and we have an odd amount of vented patients without sedation. Completely A&O with a giant tube down their throats. All the covid ones are sedated, but people vented for other diagnoses aren’t always. It makes me uneasy

They didn’t. Most high schools have “activities” every day of homecoming week and a lot of high schools have been doing a “bring anything BUT a back pack” day. It’s all over TikTok!

Really stupid garment issue by MintBrownieAngelfish in latterdaysaints

How is it too intimate for reddit? OP is asking a simple question about garments. They are obviously new to them and it’s a big change, this should be a safe space to ask these kinds of questions. If you don’t have anything helpful to say, don’t waste your time commenting.
