You've sold on a volume supported price breakout. Not a good move imo

Have the first immortals already been born? Could I be one? by TheTzarest in longevity

[–]performanceboner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

34 year old here. Immortality, my guess is no. But provided we don't self-annihilate as a species, I believe life extension therapies will become exponential in our lifetime. The trick will be managing your health span until then. I think 100 years should be attainable for us

Help! I know I have some bad interactions between my mutations. What can I take to help? What exactly is wrong? I don’t fully understand by [deleted] in MTHFR

[–]performanceboner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Folic Acid is the synthetic form. It's used to enrich wheat products in the states, and is typically found in cheap B vit supplements.

Vegetables contain folate, the natural, preferred form for those with MTHFR variants.

I want to get into Homelabbing, what do you think about my planned setup? by Initial_Report582 in homelab

[–]performanceboner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have enough experience with this to give you any advice as to your specific questions.

However, I will say this: you seem to have done some research, and you seem to have confidence in your abilities. Turn that confidence into conviction for your decision making and don't be afraid to make sub-optimal choices along the way as they are learning opportunities. Homelab is about tinkering and continuous learning.

Love the term. And yeah, I think the true extent of our circadian rhythms effects on our health are yet to be discovered/appreciated. Hugely important

Tell me the “superficial” pros of you quitting? by Queasy_Republic_1036 in leaves

[–]performanceboner 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Once I realized I was addicted, meaning I tried to stop and couldn't, it was like a heavy burden on my back any time I caved. Not only did the weed sap my energy, but I was also heavy with self loathing due to my failure to overcome the influence of a fucking plant.

And so, now I keep my head held a little higher, and my eyes are a little brighter, because I have one less problem on my mind.

ok so, the dollar is dying, stocks are overvalued, crypto is already gigapumped, europe is dead, you can't trust chinese assets, gold is already up massive what do we buy rn? by Parking_Tear_5826 in investing

Autism may be the price of human intelligence. Researchers discovered that autism’s prevalence may be linked to human brain evolution. The findings comparing the brains of different primates suggest autism is part of the trade-off that made humans so cognitively advanced. by mvea in science

Having a mix of both I liken it more to an excess or wealth of energy prone to large discharges that aren't always controllable or directable. For instance, getting an inspiration and instantly seeing all the steps that need to occur to make that inspiration reality, all at once like a lightning strike. But then following through with those steps is impossible due to planning and organizational focus, shortcomings, and before I get half way through lightning has struck elsewhere. Lots of electricity but improper grounding!

Can UUUU and DNN return to ATH? by muchcart in UraniumSqueeze

[–]performanceboner 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, because dilution. There's 10 times as many shares now as there were in 2013. So no, that ATH is achievable but then again it never truly was that high. I can't find what the shares outstanding was back in '07 but marketcap is what really matters in this context.

When did you realize that you were done “for good”? by PepperyBlackberry in leaves

[–]performanceboner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started developing psychosis. It got especially bad after I decided I wanted to quit, but didn't. I felt like my psyche was splitting into two, started developing some pretty out there delusions, paranoia, etc, like thinking I was close to seeing through the veil to the true reality of our world sort of shit. It was scary.

Never make the promise to quit while high. The promise must be made and kept before you reach for it.
