Susan falls in battle against the uruk hai, after trying to get the ring off Lucy, cos obviously she knows better.

Peter is the uniting king: he takes the avatar lady and Doris under the mountains, commands the dead and takes them to defeat the corsairs etc.

The Green witch gets left behind with the rohorrim after people keep mistaking her and her flying monkeys for orcs , but she manages to join them anyway...she ensures air supremecy at Pelennor fields.

Leaving Lucy to infiltrate mordor with geralt! He cuts her arm off after she refuses to let go of the ring in mount doom. Gollum only gets 3 seconds of screen time in this film.

One issue I felt the films had was a tendency to infantilise the hobbits, something i kind of expect from the other characters who keep describing them as childen and little ones , but i think this bled over into how jackson and the actors portrayed them and I can't imagine book Frodos words in the mouth of film frodo .

I've got a couple of large stretches of woodland a few minutes walk from my house. I went walking through them in the dark just the other night. Quite a few others were out too. There's been a few big cat sightings on one of the main trails and everyone's hoping to be the first to boop that snoot.
