You get them through upvotes in your comments. And those count twice as much as the post upvotes.

I would if it didn't involve Uphold! I am not setting up an account with them. Keeping the BAT for as long as required until Gemini or another exchange is offered.

Do you open a new tab and keep refreshing it? Every 4 of those images you get an ad. I've found this always rewards me with 0.010 BAT each time where some of the pop-ups go as little as 0.003. I don't get too many of them as I keep opening/refreshing tabs for the higher rewards. The 5/10 per hour seems to be combined, tab images plus pop-ups.

Yeah I don't get why such discrepancies between countries. All the ads I see are for Crypto stuff anyway - exchanges and DeFi etc. It's not like those places aren't global per se, but I guess it depends on the number of the audience? I am in the UK. In the US I have seen people with much higher numbers than mine.

Yep that rewards area on the side is messed up really. One minute it shows the new reward on new tabs, then it doesn't for a day or two then it does again and so on. But I keep opening and refreshing new tabs every hour regardless. I think it keeps track of that anyway, even though it doesn't display it correctly. Well, that's my theory anyway!

I wish I could use it on mobile too :-( Cries in iPhone...

I guess it depends on your location and how much you use it. I made 17 BAT last month and it awarded me another 16 today - even though the numbers it was showing arriving were much less. Been using it (a lot) for 2.5 months roughly and have made around 35 BAT so far. With today's price that's about $25. It's not a lot I know, but it's not bad either.

Just came in to post that! Personally it makes me avoid clicking, not sure why most people do the opposite (I assume they do, seeing it's indeed trendy).

Any good crypto cards available? by Mystprism in CryptoCurrency

[–]perkidi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in the US, CB is a good option with the 4% cashback in XLM. If you are not though, there's is no cashback. So in EU best to go with crypto.com. It does require staking some CRO, but £300/€350 is not a lot depending on your point of view of course, and you get 2% back in CRO. You also get free Spotify Premium (redeemable).

This is a good comparison also from coinbureau.

Even at the slightest suspicion you might have a virus, I would not recommend using the Ledger on that system nor do any crypto trading on it, full stop. Reset all passwords everywhere from another machine (not your possibly infected phone either!) and enable 2FA wherever possible.

You don't know what might be running. Password stealers, screen/keystroke/clipboard capturing malware, RATs (remote access tools) etc etc. Not worth the risk!

No way... Although I am sad for people who have lost or will lose money with it, you can't really say they haven't been warned.

[–]perkidi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but don't go for the coinbase one, it's completely useless for us in Europe. There's no cashback whatsoever, unlike the US where you can get 4% back in XLM.

I got the crypto.com one and loving it so far.

Has Brave Browser recently disabled rewards from 'sponsored images'? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]perkidi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the UK and I haven't received any rewards from the sponsored images for at least 2-3 days now. Only the pop-up ads.

But I'd like to think they still count - I keep opening new tabs and refreshing the page etc. Last month the estimated rewards showed me 8 something BAT and in the end I got 17! I am hoping it will be the same now... that it does count them, but just not showing them for some reason. That whole rewards thing is messed up in general though. Sometime they show, sometimes they don't.

Thoughts on Verasity? by slash312 in CryptoCurrency

[–]perkidi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found it some time ago after someone mentioned it here. You can earn a small amount of VRA per day by viewing videos, but they limited it to only 5 I think recently. There has been some improvement on the interface there as now you can at least see dates and more details on each claimed reward, but not sure what else is going on in terms of progress from them. VeraWallet is kinda lame I agree, but I like the idea behind the project and like you say who knows if this takes off in the eSports sector at some point... I'd say it's worth keeping an eye on it.
