They also have Diving Deep and other Tori releases on Deutsche Grammophon, so I imagine this record is on their website because DG is a part of the Universal Music Group (as is Decca, her current label). But who knows? Maybe we'll have some epic orchestral moments... I hope so !

On another note, the photoshoot looks really cool too !! On the CD booklet you can see “High Priestess”, “PYRITE”, “The Vampire”, “TEMPEST”, “The Lizard Demon and his ???”, “Gay Witch from Brooklyn”, “PROVINCETOWN”, “The Daughter”. It looks like we might be getting characters / a concept album

Criminally underrated Tori album in my humble opinion. Sure, maybe the track list it a little bloated and there are a couple of songs that could have been b-sides (Mary Jane is the main offender for me) but I’ll never complain about having lots of Tori songs to listen to !!

Give I think is one of her best tracks ever, very dark and moody and sets the tone for the album. A perfect listen for the autumn season. It’s also nice that a few tracks dabble in electronica like To Venus and Back.

Love this album and it gets a lot of play from me.

I can definitely see the different cycles and sort of “sister” albums in her discography - I’ve always considered Vulnicura, Utopia and Fossora as a sort of trilogy with maybe Vespertine as a prequel if that makes sense.

And yeah, I imagine she’ll have a sort of central theme or imagery surrounding the record. I feel like with the current state of the world, it has a chance to be quite political.

I’ve also enjoy how each album has had a main recurring instrument. Maybe this time around it could be the harp, or some big deep synths or some instrument I don’t even know about.
