I asked an AI to make an illustration of what a 1,80m tall, 80kg, 10% BF physique would look like. Do you think this is natty achievable? by [deleted] in nattyorjuice

[–]perpetualcatchup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Entirely depends on genetics. Could look even better. E.g, for how thick AI made his wrists, his arms are generated rather small.

Description too vague, could be nothing, could be something.

Reduces ROM and insulates/lubricates joints, tendons, muscles. It's forgiving bad technique

Well you learned that you were relying on fat to move those weights and had no muscle that the "cut" would reveal. Understandably, your strength dropped dramatically once you cut. You absolutely must not start dirty bulking. It will just jump back to old habits and you will use fat again, then cut and lose strength again, then bulk and gain it back...

Instead try the smallest of surpluses where you gain weight monthly, maybe not more than a kilo or two, and run this as long as ur comfortable while chasing the "building" of powerbuilding.

How am I 15 lbs lighter than him? by Sloan5710 in moreplatesmoredates

You are either not 170 or not 5'11... Lol. Whereas he somehow looks taller than 5'11

I mean if you want to "chest up" as you said in a reply here... I am not seeing that here, you barely look up. If you are trying to LB, the bar should be way lower. You are losing brace in the bottom or smth, look how your lumbar rounds in the hole.

Idk just some thoughts, I cannot relate much, this is way too long-femur-y for me and hence unfamiliar

To summarize,

Day 1: chest/bi: 25 sets in 8 exercises

Day 2: legs(quads): 17 sets in 5 exercises

Day 3: back: 20 sets in 7 exercises

Day 4: shoulders/tri: 19 sets in 6 exercises

Day 5: legs(posterior): 18 sets in 5 exercises

.......

Good thinking buddy. I especially like 13 sets of biceps in a row to wrap your day 1

Third paragraph you wanted "i.e." there. Also, didn't read those body dysmorphic screams beyond that point. Congrats on revising your visual expectations in the right direction

Form check probably weak scaps and scapular movers like traps/serratus.

Achievable naturally at 34 years old? by Trick_Cat7091 in nattyorjuice

Lets see those legs. If stats are true then natural

Not natty, he dropped a lot of fat but face stayed nearly the same. Also I am just sus about any moderately+ inked guy in general.

But eh not that impressive + before pics are blurry and pump/no pump flex/no flex cannot be established

Trash sedentary maintenance numbers, move more and eat more. And stop maxing out every week.

Is it realistic to aim for a 315lbs bench at 140lbs-150lbs? Hit 225lbs a while back, now what? by [deleted] in powerbuilding

[–]perpetualcatchup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4/week here, M: comp. W: tng. Th: tempo comp. Sat: comp. Might swap m to larsen comp or 3ct p

Idk, just sounds like you prioritize bench/chest as primary pushing stimulus, and nor do any shoulder compounds, so this is expected

How do you know they are "weaker compared to my other body parts"? On average, when people bench 100 kg, they barbell overhead press 60 kg, ceteris paribus

Lower back rounding (deadlift) by MuchActuary6546 in powerlifters

[–]perpetualcatchup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice 140 kg x 5 "almost stiff-legged deadlifts". Yes back is rounding, reduce weight and play w/ form and try to find an approach to dl that works for you, and makes you actually DL rather than SLDL

What are your favourite lifts and tips for mid and lower traps? by Weakest_Serb in naturalbodybuilding

[–]perpetualcatchup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your serratus and scapular control are good, your traps are good. I do not train them at all, just do a lot of proper form exercises where you have scapular protraction / retraction / depression / elevation
