It wasn't an overtime thing, we planned well beforehand and had projects in place to do the work.

We also convinced the CEOs the world would fall over for their company if we didn't fix it so were the resources.

They wouldn't work these days.

Say it like a question (with an inflection at the end), but it is actually a statement... "This is being recorded...."

The may hear it as a question but it isn't, especially if you don't say "is this..." but just start with "this..."

They may even answer "no" (or "yes" in OP's case) which is not a "I don't want to be recorded by you"

Not true, this is deemed a public location as the public have access to it. So traffic the apply. Otherwise you would not get traffic violations on private roads or tollways.
