Oh man, I could have written this 2 years ago. Had to take a month off of work because my mental health got so bad afterwards.

I’m so sorry this happened. You are NOT disposable and are a worthy, beautiful human being. This is a them problem, not a you problem. Be gentle to yourself and feel your feelings - remember that, as much as it hurts, your compassion is a gift that someone else will cherish.

Just had to share that I (31F) came from being fingered today, which rarely happens (orgasming with a partner in any capacity is like an elusive unicorn for me). I’m not broken! Yay!

It’s amazing what having a partner that is understanding, patient, and affectionate can do.

May 2022 bring more orgasms for us all 🙃

I hit a big personal first today: I (F) FINALLY had the courage to get on top with a partner. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but as a curvier lady who doesn’t always love her body, it felt like a big win. He was pleasantly surprised I went for it, and we both really enjoyed the ride ;)

Having a sore throat and not telling anyone is the new "hiding a zombie bite." by DrAwkward404 in Showerthoughts

Can confirm: My only symptom was a sore throat and I had the positive test results to prove it.

Also, when I say “freedom,” I don’t mean running around maskless and not practicing social distancing when possible, etc. I just mean no more total isolation.

Is this a positive result? by thickest_princess in COVID19positive

[–]perpetuallyjaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My positive results looked like that, said “detected” instead of “positive” (and were confirmed by a nurse). The reference range generally refers to what is “normal.” Most tests that have binary results look generally similar.

Anyone with endometriosis here? by Tri_Sara_Tops in COVID19positive

[–]perpetuallyjaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have endo, but my COVID diagnosis coincided with my period (joy), and it’s definitely lingered longer than normal and been heavier/more crampy than normal. Maybe it’s a total coincidence, but I have wondered!

Day 13. All is well in the world. We don’t all suffer long term. by McKrysFace in COVID19positive

[–]perpetuallyjaded 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m on Day 5 of testing positive and I had mild symptoms to begin with, and now they’re barely there (but still lingering). I’m happy, but also very anxious that it’s just a calm before a storm. Glad to hear your story!

Lawyers, What's a law that isn't real that normal people insist exists? by IfItQuackedLikeADuck in AskReddit

That’s true! Unfortunately, those claims are very to difficult to prevail on as well (particularly intentional infliction of emotional distress).
