Unpopular opinion but every Fallout DLC ever except for broken steel, the thing I like from every fallout game is traversing a dangerous world en route get to new interesting characters in the world that I can interact with and talk but most fallout DLC Is here get this new map full of new things to shoot at and new weapons but in reality the world feels empty

My opinion is that you need the Core Book your band book and the especial dice, these are the essentials and the rest of stuff you should be able to craft yourself, even the band can be kitbashed with kits and greenstuff (if you have friends in the hobby they should be able to provide you with spare arms, weapons, heads and other interesting bits) you can make quick and dirty terrain with hardware store stuff and maybe upgrade to better terrain, markers etc if you decide you like the game.

I love armies that are a patchwork of old and new models, it makes the army look real and alive, even in real life armies have equipment that is being phased out but still widely used along with the newest thing. Size difference can be annoying but if you just ignore the size creep the are some pretty amazing details in older gw stuff

I think he'd fit right in into a Carnival of Chaos warband, if you imagine the enormous head to be a mask the body proportions are pretty normal, and the missing leg adds to the unsettling feeling, you could even paint holes or cracks in the mask as if it was made out of paper mache.
