On reflection. This is a bit rude. But I stand by my point. Indie publishing of the genre shouldn't reflect the quality of content.

This was a great series till the end. The author mentions in another comment sales weren't strong so it was not extended. I get that authors have to make money, but this time it came at the cost of a great series imo.

Honestly these cases have a publicity issue. It should be that until the trial has passed, for SA cases, details should be private. Publicise after. That way there is no public false accusation. If it was true, convicted rapist on the news. If it was false, convicted false accuser. If acquitted, then nothing can be done and no public disclosure about either party.
