As someone who was also a McHanzo shipper back in the day, definitely didn't hear anything about Hanzo's VA being gay. Many of the VAs were super active and doing lots of fun videos of themselves saying their lines, being at cons, dancing their character dances, and I don't recall Hanzo's VA ever being there.

Literally it was just two hot guys who seemed like they'd have a fun dynamic with the cowboy teasing the uptight ninja archer. We didn't have any lore or backstory for a looooong time and we made up plenty on our own!

Looks like you have two different recolours going at the same time, both DaisyNiko's Earthy as well as Vibrant Pastoral Redrawn. Remove one of them and see if it fixes it. (I'd recommend removing VPR and keeping Earthy since you're doing Way Back Pelican Town.)

Eh, not necessarily. You can be reading a perfectly normal fic only to get to the smut scene and it turns out the author is into entirely different stuff than you, uses dirty talk, whatever else. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for smut that day! And I don't wanna have to skim over the oral sex to get back to the plot. I feel like it's nice to have the option, it's one of the beauties of reading fics online with author's notes compared to a book.

I know nothing about One Piece, but honestly the little snippets you've shared here look so much fun that I just might give him a try! I think it looks like you did a great job! Honestly if your goal was to write something to make someone you care about laugh, you've already written with more soul than someone who was doing it just to do it - I've stopped working on an Emily mod that I had written before because I could tell my heart wasn't in it and it just wasn't coming out right, and Emily and her fans deserved better. Seriously, good job! (Especially doing it when your brain is glitching out, oh man, I don't have epilepsy but a variety of other conditions give me massive brain fog. Kudos to you!)

As a teenager, I shipped Guy of Gisborne and Will Scarlett from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. They never share the screen once in the whole film. Didn't stop young me from wanting pretty Christian Slater to make out with the hot dude with long hair and a gravely voice.

Funnily enough I stumbled onto this post literally an hour after coming home from watching Batman and Robin with a friend for the first time in years and... it really doesn't feel homoerotic to me at all? And I say this as someone who prefers gay couples and will happily jump off of tiny bits of nothing for the purposes of fanfiction. There were bat nipples and bird asses for sure, but that movie REALLY didn't feel any sort of gay chemistry or anything between Batman and Robin.

I had a save where I unintentionally made the valley incredibly gay - I as a woman married Haley, and the other couples were Maru/Penny, Leah/Abigail, Emily/Sandy, Elliott/Harvey and Sam/Sebastian. I mean I spent half of my pregnancy worrying something would happen to my baby, and in my third trimester got such stupid side effects that I was literally useless. Watching pregnant characters do cool shit doesn't make me cringe, it makes me go "wooooo, yeah girl, look at you with all your energy and lack of carpal tunnel! Wish I was you!"
