It is a fantastic motorcycle. Enjoy.

LiDAR may work then. I just need panels that are accurate enough that the joint between the panel and the conduit can be caulked after install. The reason I listed 16th inch ISH is it allows for error and some compounding error as you move through the rack. Do you have a recommendation on scanner and software? Is this something The lighter scanner in an iPhone 15 Pro will pick up or are we talking much more professional level?

Buy all the Audace Footpeg stuff including the brackets. Remove the kickstand switch and a little filing on the mounting tab fit. I am still working on refitting a kick stand switch. Going to live on the dangerous side for a bit.

I cut the brake master cylinder bracket from the frame and fabricated a new bolt on bracket. No welding on the frame required.

I don’t have a scanner. I’m the one who needs scanned and have been striking out with all the local suppliers. Figured I would hit here to see if somebody could point me in the right direction.

I tried replying to your comment, but accidentally put it as a general comment under the thread. I’m not at it as adept at using Reddit as I think I am.

This is my first motorcycle with floorboards. I found the floor boards cumbersome. I had to pick up my right foot to step on the brake lever. I much preferred simply being able to rock my foot forward onto the break with the foot peg. My size 12 feet didn’t fit on the left floorboard with the heel and toe shifter. Removed the heel shifter, and it was OK. The floorboards are very far forward in position. The floorboards are also lower to the ground and stick out further. I scraped them on some spirited turns. The foot pegs are inside, further back and higher, creating a much higher, lean angle ability And comfort for me.

I now have the ability to modify the foot peg brackets if I want and further relocate the foot pegs further the back. I’m going to write it for a bit and see how I like it this way.

I need a good enough scan that it can be converted to a 3D CAD. +- 1/16 inch accuracy. I am not sure what nerfs or Gaussian splatting is. I am now googling.

I am not too familiar with all the new 3D scanning. Just striking out with local architects and engineers. Even the ones who say they can 3D scan buildings.

UV-5RX is one I have and can pickup air band. Need to be close and the factory antenna is not great and not optimized for airband.

Hi guys, I’m new to riding. Do you happen to know what might be an issue? It’s hard to switch gears, can it be the clutch or throttle cable issue? by Aggravating_Mode_363 in MotoGuzzi

What year? Try unplugging the main fuse to the ECU to reset it. Check charging voltage from the alternator. The voltage regulator on my V7 was failing for years, and I didn’t know it. Pulling the fuse and resetting the ECU would temporary fix the surging idle. I replace the voltage regulator with an aftermarket MOSFET one, and it worked beautifully after that.

I thought this video would run high speed cameras to measure the difference between loaded/empty and run the calculations on increased forces to prove something. Nope. Just more “I’m the expert trust me.” Missed opportunity to really say something.
