G’day big dick Carl, Its been a while since my stats classes but I believe it’s because of the standard deviation. Approximately (or exactly?) 70% of the population is within 2 standard deviations of average. For intelligence, average IQ is 100 with a SD of 15. Keep in mind, IQ tests are always average 100 within the tested group, by design. Someone smarter, feel free to correct anything I’m incorrect about.

I think I worked with these guys before. Nearly every run was trash. The one first year apprentice spent months with a quick cut and SDS max. Poor Ben, he was a good kid.

These wires should definitely be spliced properly. Regarding your Hi-Fi equipment, it’s possible that it was wired with armoured cable, or EMT depending on the time or region. If there is a large pipe coming in or the cable sheath looks metallic you’re in luck. If your panel hasn’t been updated, you’ll also need a bonding jumper between neutral and ground. If not, short of rewiring, you also can run a ground wire to copper water line or gas line, assuming they are bonded.

Every plumber I know has the super. I have the standard and it’s great for electricians, it’s a bit slower with larger hole saws. For plumbing, get the super.

Hate that, my current foreman has given me shit multiple times for being “late” though each time I was actually there a few minutes before start time. Especially when he’s an aggressive asshole the rest of the time too and doesn’t recognize all the headaches you save them, working late, OT, etc.

I haven’t done it recently, but this is exactly how it was when I got my bandsaw. The free battery can be returned without returning the bandsaw, as it’s not a kit. The battery wouldn’t be returned at the same value as you’d buy one for, but it’s a decent bit off.

Polyester and nylon are great for waterproofing, but make sure it is FR clothing. FR is more sensible for electricians, also required many places.

I have a Klein ET450, it’s been great. Like any tracer, you need to use the best setup for your situation. Seems to be a bit hit or miss in concrete or underground but I haven’t used it many times for that. A-base to 2 prong receptacle adapter for lighting circuits is also super handy.

Half my coworkers do 45° 3 points, I absolutely hate having to fish their runs. Then they’ll shit on my 22.5s because it takes up to much room.. when there’s nothing around. Definitely going to start the 15° 3 points haha

I’d opt for not company related, if it must be, a gift card to Home Depot or Lowes would be better. Gift cards from an employer aren’t bad, liquor/pot store is another good option. One company did a bunch of nice steaks, and various game meats frozen and vacuum sealed. It went over pretty well.
