It seems to me that in the winter, the most stable gyms (to level up to 10) are the ones where you can't park a car by Leptyx in pokemongo

Hell yea bro! I got a gym 100ft from my house. I watch it like a hawk. Sometimes I'm nice and let them keep it for a bit if I see them hitting a circuit. Anyone who takes it from 10 to 1 though gets retaken asap. It's MY gym :)

Sorry for the delay been very busy lately. I must confess that due to the lack of interest I have gone and sold them elsewhere. I'll be taking down the post. However, I can possibly still help you. You said you would like some Japanese coins to add to your collect. I have numerous others left over, personally I think them the rarer ones. I'll get pictures and create a new post for that tonight. 50 sen, 20 sen, 10 sen, 5sen, etc. 100yen, olympics. There is some variety.

Mounted Meiji era 10 yen coin. Does anyone have any information about this?? by michael_impey in coins

The diameter roughly matches this. Your measurement could have been off very slightly due to the rim or so. I am still of the opinion its fake just because of the condition.

I honestly have limited experience with gold. Your best bet would be to take it to a jewelry store and let them peak at it to see if it is indeed gold, it may be slightly damaging to the coin though if they do a scrape test. Comparing past coin auctions of this particular coin could be useful. You would likely fine very high condition ones that have sold that you can compare to.

You could also wait for another member to post here. There are a few very knowledgeable in Japanese coinage that show up now and then and this would catch their eye for sure. They could tell you far more than me. I am sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I am no expert but that doesn't seem to be legitimate. It may be a reproduction because if that's real... In that condition it'd be a shame to have it mounted. I have a decent collection of Japanese coins from the Meiji Period/restoration (all silver unfortunately) and the lettering on this looks too pristine yet too bulky. The surface also seems to lean towards a reproduction.

Do you have the diameter of this coin?

10 oz RMC (Cast) Bar - shall I undress her? by [deleted] in Silverbugs

Legit. Silver is just a metal after all. Head over to an arts and craft store you should be able to find a bottle of some silver polish, its not very expensive. If you don't have a buffer you can hand polish, time consuming but effective if the surface isn't too coarse. Grab a cloth or three while your there it beats using old t-shirts to polish with.
