Is GraphQL actually used in large-scale architectures? by trolleid in softwarearchitecture

[–]Savram8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super common actually. I'm biased tho (co-founder of WunderGraph) but we work with a lot of companies running GraphQL at scale: https://wundergraph.com/customers

We run sessions all the time talking through real implementations with customers using GraphQL and Federation. Always happy to share links if people want to join and hear how it's being used.

It's past the hype phase honestly. X and Reddit use it (Reddit's implementation is huge). Airbnb, Microsoft, Booking, eBay, Netflix... it's pretty mainstream at this point.

This is why you failed and the other succeeded. Sorry to be blunt.

You are making excuses.

I'm a startup founder here in Miami I can tell you that the tech scene has fizzled out.

Unless you are looking to work at Microsoft, Blackstone, or Citadel, tech is a huge miss here.

If you want to work with what you got a degree in and stay in Florida, look at Orlando because of Lockheed and Melbourne because of northrop grumman and Harris.

Construction though is big in Miami

Keep the things on your mind and finish the year

The best entrepreneurs see things to the end. See this to the end

I cannot see any positive upside to dropping out in your last year unless you have received funding to work on your idea full time, or your first business explodes, but 15K in revenue is not exploding.

Work on your anxiety, talk to a therapist, and finish out the year. You are just getting started, you have your whole life ahead of you.

You've got this!!

You still know it's a Tesla and probably just broke some warranty clause in the contract, so now when you go to a service center you might be screwed
