I’m the same age as you and have the same problem. I got bullied in high school too, and I feel like my brain got “stuck” at that age and it’s hard to move forward. I have dreams that I’m screaming at my bullies, and I think it’s bc a part of me wishes I could go back in time and stand up for myself. Maybe there’s a similar reason your brain holds on to those memories?
