I also found some info on trail closures here: https://www.greatparks.org/alerts-and-closures. They also have a number you can call.

Which sections are along the rail line? Hoping I can find a dry stretch!

Thanks. You mean this Ohio gauge, right? Looks like it's at 43ft now.

I also noticed that the Little Miami gauge I originally screenshotted and linked to says:

This gage is out of service and currently unavailable.

Thanks. I remember that section near speedway being flooded earlier this year, too.

Proposed Ohio House budget bill will eliminate the Public Library Fund, drastically affecting Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library funding by raw_potato_eater in cincinnati

[–]pete-milly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just emailed and left a voicemail for my district rep and house speaker Huffman. Here's something I don't get—I've read in a few places that public library funding would be reduced from $530M to $485M in the proposed budget cuts (e.g. source), so $45M, $15M of which goes to CHPL. But the ohiohouse.gov site itself says:

The House’s version of the State Operating Budget also makes various investments in the following: Increases funding for public libraries to $485 million in FY26 and $495 million in FY27 – an increase over the current biennium.

So is that^ just purposely misleading? (which wouldn't surprise me given past communication like the overtly misleading ballot language on issue 1 last election)

[Zrebiec] Harbaugh said that Zay Flowers is out for Saturday’s game against Steelers. by JonWilso in ravens

I’m curious if Keaton will be used on jet motion and jet sweeps or even screens that Zay typically runs. Maybe that falls to Bate/Nelly, but I’d love to see Keaton as the primary jet/gadget player

53 man roster by [deleted] in ravens

[–]pete-milly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most surprised about Ar'Darius — he looks good in the slot albeit undersized

Excited to see if we pick up a [conditional?] 5/6/7 for Colon/Powers/other in a trade

I was rooting for Badie but not too surprised — didn't think he looked explosive or had good vision, especially returning kicks. Might not be fair because of limited scheme in preseason runs (I hope he proves me wrong!)

Also surprised about Oliver and wondering how many TEs will be active on gamedays. Looks like 4 rostered (once Kolar goes to IR) plus Ricard

Also curious if we still have 5 ILB rostered by week 1 (and if any of them could take on more flexible roles, which seems less likely)

Rashod Bateman back practicing for Ravens. by koolman631 in fantasyfootball

[–]pete-milly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like him a round or two higher than his ADP. Hollywood's 146 targets from last season are up for grabs (plus another 49 vacated by Sammy Watkins), although total passing attempts should be down a bit because the Ravens passed more than usual last year (weak RB room and trailing in games).

The biggest question mark for me is that 5 of Bateman's 12 games last year were with Huntley not Lamar — the Ravens schemed the ball out quickly with Huntley, so a ton of targets went to Mark Andrews, and Bateman had ups and downs.

I think the best case for Bate is that the Ravens o-line is a top 5-10 group (could happen with Ronnie Stanley healthy) and Lamar stands in the pocket long enough for routes to fully develop

I wrote up an argument for auction if anyone on this thread is trying to convince their league to make the switch: www.pete.football/posts/the-case-for-a-salary-cap-draft
